Silver Falls State Park

Katie and I spent the night in the rented cabin in Silver Falls that was host to a real-life version of the game clue. We woke up after about 95% of the people had left for the day. Part of the impetus for staying was so that we could get up and go hiking the next day through Silver Falls State Park. The 5 or 6 mile hike that we did took us through about 7 waterfalls, about 4 of which you could actually walk under. If you look closely above at this 193 foot waterfall you can see the trail emerging behind it about halfway down the waterfall, to give you a sense of scale. The neat part about the falls was the tremendous wind that was created from the falling water.
