Hobby Night, New Camera!

This is the one of the first few pictures that I took with my brand new DSLR - a refurbed Canon 40D. I’ve got to say I’m a big fan thus far. Just the way the body feels in the hand is much more comfortable than the XT that I was shooting with. Today I plagued Ellie taking some photos of her while she was painting. We made plans to hang out today and have crafty/hobby time - where we could hang out without spending any money and both work on some things we’ve been meaning to work on. I’d have been working on my watercolor painting but I forgot my ink at home.
