Swimming at Dougan Falls, Washington

Justin and Ellie invited me to come with them to the Washougal river in Washington on Sunday. Justin drove us to this place called Dougan Falls, which is pictured here (with Ellie and Justin in the top left, for sizing reference). It was a very beautiful spot on the river. Kids were jumping off the boulders into the lagoons and deep bends of the river. I couldn’t resist and took off my sling a few days early so I could swim in the amazingly clear waters. It was COLD. Very, very cold. Discovered naps on granite are surprisingly comfortable.
